VAIL AND ARCHES TRIP

For our summer vacation, we decided to pack the kids in the car for a 10-hour drive to Vail, Colorado to spend a weekend at a client's condo up in the mountains. The trip was well worth the long drive! No need to describe in words...check out these pictures.

After a shaky ride on on the gondola lift, we made it to the peak of the mountain behind the village. The trip back down the mountain was a lot easier than the trip up to the top!

Enjoying the great outdoors!

The mighty Rockies!

A view of the bustling village that we stayed at in Vail.

Audrey is staring at the mountains.

I took Abby and Audrey on a hike and was amazed at far they hiked on their own!

The grand lobby at the place we stayed at in Vail.

A view of the condo living room from the balcony. It was a sweet place!

Abby had to find real cowgirl and get her picture taken with her!

We decided to visit Arches National Park after our stay in Vail.

This was my favorite arch at Arches National Park. It looked like you could snap it like a twig!

We took the scenic drive to Arches along the Colorado River. The scenery was amazing but the drive alongside the river was a "white knuckle" experience!

God thought it would be fun to balance this huge rock on top of a tiny column of rock!

My family survived the mile hike in the desert sun just to take this picture under an arch!

Angela and Abby conquer the arch!

Audrey takes a moment to relax from her climb up the giant rocks.

An incredible view in Arches National Park!
